Terms of Service and Repair Policy

Last updated: 2026-08-20

Who These Terms Apply To

These terms of service apply to all customers of Coast to Coast RV Repair, LLC and govern every service call we perform. By scheduling a service visit or authorizing work on your RV, you agree to these terms. Coast to Coast RV Repair is a Florida-based mobile RV repair company. We dispatch RVIA-certified technicians to campgrounds, storage facilities, RV parks, and residential driveways throughout Florida. We do not operate a shop you drive to - we come to wherever your RV is located.

How a Service Call Works

When you call (866) 887-1199 or submit a service request online, our dispatch team will ask you for the RV's location, class, manufacturer, and a description of the problem. We provide a phone-estimate range for the most likely repair before scheduling. A technician is then dispatched to your location on the agreed date and arrival window. On arrival, the technician performs an on-site diagnosis and provides a written quote for the specific repair before any work begins. No work starts without your verbal or written authorization.

Most repairs are completed in a single visit. If a part must be ordered, the technician will schedule a return visit at no additional service-call charge for the same job. Specialty parts or complex rebuilds may require extended lead times depending on supply availability in Florida.

Service-Call Fee and Payment

Our service-call visit fee covers the technician's travel to your location, the on-site diagnostic, and the first hour of labor. The fee is $299 for standard service area locations. If you authorize the repair, the visit fee is credited against the total invoice. If you decline the repair after the diagnostic, the visit fee is due at that time - it covers the trip and the technician's time, not the repair outcome.

Parts are charged at our standard supplier rates plus a handling markup, which varies by part type and availability in Florida. You will see the parts breakdown on your written quote before authorization. Payment is due upon completion of work. We accept cash, all major credit cards, Zelle, and Venmo. We do not offer payment plans or net terms except by written agreement made in advance of the service call.

Scope of Work

Coast to Coast RV Repair handles coach-side systems: HVAC (rooftop and basement AC, furnaces, heat pumps), electrical (converters, inverters, shore power, solar, 12V and 120V systems), plumbing (water pumps, heaters, tanks, valves), slide-outs, awnings, leveling systems, LP gas systems, generators (Onan, Cummins, Champion, Generac RV units), appliances (absorption and residential refrigerators, water heaters, ranges, microwaves), roofing (resealing, recoating, substrate repair), and water damage restoration. We do not perform chassis engine work, transmission service, or frame welding, and we do not remove and install aftermarket lifts, hitches, or suspension components beyond what is standard in our RV-system specialty.

We reserve the right to decline a service call if the repair presents a safety risk to the technician or to the RV owner, if the required scope exceeds our certification, or if the RV's condition makes safe repair impossible. If we decline work, the service-call fee covers the diagnostic that established those findings.

Parts Warranty

Every part we install carries the manufacturer's standard warranty. HVAC components (Dometic, Coleman, Advent) typically carry a one-year parts warranty. Electrical components vary by manufacturer. Lippert and Schwintek slide components carry their manufacturer warranty. We will provide the manufacturer's warranty documentation for any part we install on request.

Labor Warranty

Our labor is warranted for 90 days from the date of service. If a repair we performed fails within 90 days due to a workmanship defect - meaning the repair was performed incorrectly or the installation was faulty - we will return and correct the issue at no additional labor charge. The labor warranty does not cover: failures caused by subsequent damage, owner misuse, pre-existing conditions that were disclosed or visible at the time of service, normal wear of parts beyond our control, or failures in adjacent systems that were not part of the authorized repair. We document our work with photos before and after every repair, which establishes the condition of the RV at the time of service.

Campground and Storage Facility Access

When your RV is at a campground, storage facility, or RV park, you are responsible for ensuring our technician has access to your site. This includes communicating gate codes, check-in procedures, or ranger protocols that apply to the facility. We are familiar with the access requirements at most major Florida campgrounds and storage facilities and will coordinate directly when a formal process applies. If a technician arrives and cannot access the site due to owner-provided information being incomplete, the visit fee applies.

Cancellation and Rescheduling

You may cancel or reschedule a service appointment at no charge with at least 24 hours notice before the scheduled start of the arrival window. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice may be subject to the service-call fee, at our discretion, if our technician was already dispatched or staged for your call. We understand that RV travel plans change; if your location changes overnight before a scheduled morning call, contact us before 7am and we will reroute without penalty.

Liability

Coast to Coast RV Repair is licensed, bonded, and insured for commercial mobile service operations in Florida. Our liability for any service call is limited to the cost of the service performed. We are not liable for: pre-existing conditions in the RV that were present before our technician's arrival, damage caused by the owner or third parties after our work is complete, consequential or incidental damages arising from a repair or from its delay, or damage caused by the failure of parts we did not supply or install. Florida law governs these terms. Any disputes that cannot be resolved directly will be handled through binding arbitration in Broward County, Florida.
